Our story
Discover the story behind Tillow Barn Health & Wellbeing - a tranquil Surrey Hills therapy hub, set in converted barns in private grounds near Brockham, Surrey.
In 2003, Anne Finch-James, then Dr Anne Yorke (Doctor of Chiropractic) opened her first clinic in Redhill, Surrey. Operating from a single room, her small chiropractic practice earned a strong reputation for exceptional patient care.
A new chapter began in 2016 when Anne and her husband, Matthew, moved to Tillow Barn in Brockham. Inspired by the idyllic landscape, they set out to transform the rustic outbuildings into a suite of custom-built, ground-floor treatment rooms.
Today, Tillow Barn Health & Wellbeing is a thriving therapy hub for around 40 independent practitioners across diverse disciplines. Having retired from active chiropractic practice, Anne now focuses entirely on managing the centre and nurturing its supportive environment.
Despite its growth over the past decade, the heart of Tillow Barn remains unchanged. Practitioners frequently share how much they appreciate the peace, quiet, and calming atmosphere of the barns as well as the surrounding Surrey Hills countryside. Above all, therapists regularly pass along feedback from their clients, who say they love coming here - often remarking that the sense of relaxation begins the moment they step onto the grounds.
